Summary

Status effects are positive or negative bonuses that can be applied to Magical Girls and Enemies in battle. These can range from affecting specific stats, to damage-over-time or disc-changing effects. Effects are normally gained through Memoria, Magical Girl Connects, or Magical Girl Magia or Doppel attacks.

On this wiki, effects are denoted in the following format:

  • Effect Name: The names used on this wiki are translations of the JP version names, not the official NA version names.
  • Buff/Debuff Amount: Magia Record uses roman numerals to denote effect level. Where possible, the actual numerical affect is shown alongside this.
  • Target: These are divided into:
    • Self: The unit using the skill. Passive Memoria effects are always "Self" effects unless stated otherwise.
    • One: A single selected ally or enemy.
    • All enemies: All units on the opponent's side of the field.
    • Allies: All allies on the player's side of the field.
  • Turns Active: The amount of turns the effect lasts before disappearing. If there is no number here, the effect is either infinite until removed or a one-time boost.

Green colored icons denoting some sort of supporting effect such as healing, clearing debuffs, clearing enemy buffs, or reviving.

Status Ailments

Purple icons: These passively inflict an impairment on the character affected.
Yellow icons: These give the user a chance to inflict the associated Status Ailment when attacking (see Granted Effects).

Granted Effects

Yellow colored icons denoting chance or conditional effects applied to a character. Can be buffs, effects on targeting, effect blocking or reactive to met conditions. The effect is denoted by the additional symbol on the icon.

  • No Symbol (Adept) - Passive chance effect.
  • + (on Attack) - Chance to apply an effect via attacks
  • x (Anti-) - Immunity to or prevention of an effect
  • >> (On Hurt) - Activates on damage taken

Critical.png クリティカル Critical Hit Deal a critical strike. Critical strike chance does not stack, the highest percentage is used if multiple critical strike chance increases are present.
Evade.png 回避 Evade Evade the incoming attack. This includes any on-hit effects associated with the avoided attack. Evade chance does not stack, the highest percentage is used if multiple evade chance increases are present. A character affected by a Status Ailment cannot evade.
Counter.png カウンター Counter Immediately attack an enemy that deals damage to this character. Does not apply on-hit effects; does not give MP to attacker or receiver. Counter ignores evade and is subject to strong/weak element damage modifiers
Chase.png 追撃 Follow Up Attack Follow any ally's attack with an attack. Chase Attack does not occur if the ally's single target attack kills an enemy. Chase ignores evade and is subject to strong/weak element damage modifiers.
Negative Effect Damage Up.png 敵状態異常時ダメージUP Damage UP on Enemies with Status Ailments Damage increased versus enemies affected by a Status Ailment.
Endure.png 耐える Endure Survive one fatal attack with 1 HP.
Provoke.png 挑発 Taunt Redirect enemy attacks to self (changes the target of the attack).
