- Tart is the titular protagonist of Puella Magi Tart Magica; The Legend of Jeanne D'Arc, chronicling the 100 years war between France and England Tart wishes to have the Power to Bring light to France.
- Tart's real name is Jeanne D'Arc, Tart being an alternative spelling of her last name. Other names she goes by in the series are Jeanette by her friends and family, and 'La Pucelle' by the French soldiers and officials, Its a shortened version of 'La Pucelle d'Orléans' (The Maid of Orléans), a common nickname for Joan of Arc. On it's own, 'La Pucelle' can be translated as "The Maiden".
